#11 走進窄門

“你 們 要 進 窄 門 。 因 為 引 到 滅 亡 ， 那 門 是 寬 的 ， 路 是 大 的 ， 進 去 的 人 也 多 ； 引 到 永 生 ， 那 門 是 窄 的 ， 路 是 小 的 ， 找 著 的 人 也 少 。”

馬 太 福 音 7:13-14

親愛的主，

我覺得你直接地提醒我對生命的追求是走錯門了。 隨著年齡的增長，我更傾向於尋求舒適和便利。 我有合理的理由拒絕任何對這種生活方式的挑戰挑戰或邀請。然而今天，我聽到你對我向「生命」的邀請，突然給我一種活力和興奮的感覺。

主啊，我渴望充滿活力的生活，而不是充滿混亂和厭倦無奈的生活。我相信進入窄門唯一的方法就是輕裝上陣。 請幫我清理生命中的雜物，卸下一些負擔，好讓我能進入你的窄門。 一路走來，取悅眾人，確保出色的表現，依靠自己的智慧，花時間在憂慮上，不斷添加優質的物資，的確是一些沉重的負累。 我的待辦事項清單(To-do list) 和我自己的議程一直很混亂和和長長的，導致我一路上總是碰碰跌跌，浪費時間。

今天，我願意把這些障礙和重擔交給主，讓我能找到引向生命、帶來生命的窄路。 而且能輕省地走進窄門，我更渴望我的生命能夠充滿喜樂和活力、把祝福帶給別人，與人分享我的時間、恩賜、及貨財，歡歡喜喜地帶領得救的靈魂進入窄門。

主呀! 謝謝你今天讓我看到我能夠帶進窄門的只自己和你所拯救的靈魂.

#11 The Way to Narrow Gate

“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Matthew 7:13-14 (NASB)

Dear Lord,

I feel like you are speaking to me openly about my pursuit of life through the wrong gate. As I grow older, I tend to seek comfort and convenience more. There are reasons that are legitimate for me to resist any invitation to challenges. Yet today I heard your invitation to “life” which suddenly gives me a sense of vitality and excitement.

Lord, I desire a vibrant life over a life full of clutter and dreadfulness. I believe the only way to enter the narrow gate is to travel light. Please help me clear the clutter and shed some burden so that I can enter through your narrow gate. My intention to please everyone, to ensure excellent performance and to rely on my own wit have been such a heavy load along the way. My to-do list and my own agenda has been the clutter that caused me to trip and fall along the way.

Today, I am willing to hand over these obstacles and burden to you, Lord, so that I can find the narrow way that leads to life and that brings life. I long for a life that is full of joy and vitality and one that can bless other people; and lead them also through the narrow gate through serving them with my time, gifts and possessions. Thank you Lord that you help me see the only thing I can bring entering the narrow gate is myself and the precious souls you saved.
